Bylochov village was called Wallach by the German residents. Today, the settlement is part of Snědovice municipality office. Bylochov underwent a boom in the late 19th century when 232 residents of German nationality lived there in 34 houses. Today, 23 residents live there. This is a village with about 30 houses, mainly of pre-war origin belonging to the municipality authority in Snědovice. By World War Two, the residents were German and then Czech after repatriation after World War II; today there is a high proportion of holiday cottages. It is a part of the Kokořínsko protected nature area.
