The German residents recorded Křešov as Krzeschow. The village underwent a boom in the late 19th century when 348 residents lived there in 52 houses. Currently, the village has 48 residents. According to unofficial information, there was a fortress in the past, however, no remnants were ever found there. A momentous linden and a crucifixion column are the main features of the village. Not far between Křešov and Radouň are rock sculptures of a snake and a bat as well as an abandoned crucifixion column.
